my brother reluctantly lets one of his cats go outside (because otherwise he gets completely stressed out and miserable). thankfully, the cat's old, slow, and wise to the ways of cars so there is relatively little danger to local wildlife and himself. he sure does love fighting this one neighbor cat, though.

thankfully, my brother has also sworn off letting any other cats he might own ever go outside.
