I kind of assumed gear would work like in Destiny 2, where normal stuff is just a stat stick and then there are exotics that you can equip a limited number of that functionally alter how you play. I think I remember exotics being mentioned by the devs somewhere and figured that was what the deal is.

used two patterns at the fabricator at the start of the initiative stuff and didn't get anything either time. put in a ticket but have extremely low expectations of having them replaced.

to throw more specs and anecdotal testimony around, i'm running an i5-9400f, a gtx 1660, 16gb of ram, and an ssd and the only performance issues i've had are a little slowdown in the campaign finale setpiece and one crash that required a restart. edit: i also have flashing rgb lights which makes the computer run better too Namaer fucked around with this message at 12:20 on Sep 6, 2020 |

what are people doing with black widow? i tried doing an overcharge build but i wasn't getting enough healing and now i'm trying an invisibility build but it feels a little clunky.

Yes do not use it, I have been hosed out of like a dozen costumes. Either the fabricator just doesn't give you anything or the costumes it does give you disappear.

I have Hulk set up now where you use support ability then ultimate, and everything that dies drops an ult orb so you can just collect them up and do it again.

Don't even need to farm keys in between runs this week because the priority missions are regular vaults. Once I get up to like power level 100 I'll switch to elite vaults.

In the same vein of the xp boost for having multiple heroes at 50, there seems to be a gear boost for undergeared characters the more you have in high end gear. I've been running vaults and elite vaults on all my dudes to get them up to 130 and instead of getting one piece at the end, Black Widow, my last character, is getting a whole set of four purple items that are 8 item levels higher each completion.
