Learning this comes out in 2 days just made my day. I'm not saying I absolutely loved WL2 but these kind of games are absolutely my jam (I never finished it and the early game guilt trip can go straight to hell) and I just found myself wondering what to play next.

Not knowing exactly what i wanted to do with myself I downloaded Enderal: Forgotten Stories but now that I know Wasteland is coming out tomorrow I don't know if that's really enough time to fuss with it.

Okay I'm pretty far behind the curve at this point (Level 5) buuuuut. I hoped and hoped there wouldn't be another loving guilt trip at the beginning of the game but here. we. are. Saving the convoy because murdering slavers > murdering psychopaths

Ok I now kinda want to start over because two feelbads are loving killing me. I didn't have any talking skill at first so that private got her brains blown out and apparently going out in your murdertruck 3 times causes the Hoon House/Caravan mission to fail. This sucks because the first time I went to do the caravan but got blown out and the second time I didn't know you could walk directly from your base to Colorado Springs. So if I'm going to start over a question: Will I regret making my Sniper a Poindexter? Nobody shoots at him anyway.

I made my Sniper a Sadomasochist because I misunderstood Poindexter and thought it was 2 points/level rather than 1 point/2 levels. If it were even a point a level I would have done that. I did however give my sniper 6 starting intelligence.

drat it game is very good but very frustrating. I timed my load screens, 2 minutes from the start menu to get into the game, and a minute and a minute and a half for screen transitions. And if you get really messed up in a fight you either have to blow a bunch of consumables or wander off to the nearest doctor which is probably like 4 load screens there and back. Also I hosed myself over without even picking up on it. Level 9, I meant to make one Ranger my weapon modder and one my armor modder...somehow made them both armor modders and didn't pick up on it until right now. Don't know how I'm going to fix that poo poo.

Turns out I'm using Lucia as my weapon modder so things arn't quite as bad as I feared. Still that's 6 skill points wasted. Which isn't great. Wonder if that's just worth scrapping the character and redoing him. Also intelligence is just '+x skill points total' yes? If so I went and made some more mistakes. Too cheesy for me, but that's the best way to do it. I also thought about having a dedicated Toaster Repair ranger that I'd just go back to base and retrieve when I needed a toaster fixed. I need to 'respect' one of my rangers with redundant armor modding to not have armor modding but I'm lazy. Also most of my rangers have too much intelligence because I thought INT was better than it is.

Has the patch dropped on Gamepass yet? I did the Cyborg Chicken gathering yesterday and the load screens averaged about 1:15.
