Kaincypher posted:I'm loving this game but yet still annoyed at RN Jesus. How many 95% chance to hit shots can you miss back to back before it just seems silly? It's like playing Fallout X-Com. I will say there are an awful lot of 95% misses but that's probably just confirmation bias on my part

I just did the Gippers mission and sided with the Machines -- now the ... Machines all hate me and even though they won't attack me they call me a murderer? but only SOME of them -- Greet-O is fine edit: this kind of bug in an RPG is the absolute loving worst because it's like hours of progress you've lost and now SAL is constantly giving me poo poo over the radio

What happens in the epilogue if you kill the Gippers and befriend the Machine Commune? that’s exactly what I did but the game seems to think I destroyed both

What's up with the southwest corner of the map? There are some geodesic domes there that, as far as I can tell, don't factor into anything

finished the game and liked it quite a bit despite all the bugs and crashes and long load times and the fact that Angela's path is so clearly the wrong one that I'm wondering if I'm missing something. Like the Patriarch is a shithead but Angela's plan is just awful I think I'll give it another go in a year or two when the bugs have been ironed out and the DLC is out

DogsInSpace! posted:Also can anyone verify if the AI/Machine Commune ending is still glitched? It is as of yesterday. Even though the merchant bot spawns like you're still friendly and Greet-O's dialogue is unchanged, everyone else suddenly hates you (SAL ) and the game thinks you murked them

Pizepi seems like an interesting character but they really should have introduced her way earlier. By the time you encounter her the game is like 80% over

Bakeneko posted:The companions in general felt like kind of a letdown to me. Three of them could be summed up as “big crazy fighty dude” and of those, only Fishlips managed to not come across as completely evil. The other two got a bullet to the face almost immediately in my playthrough. As far as I know Lucia is the only party member to have a personal quest associated with her, where most RPGs would give everyone their own. Fishlips is a cannibal though

Aurubin posted:I mean Lucia is basically the girl from True Grit, right down to the prim way of speaking, pigtails, and hat. I think it works considering it's a post-apocalyptic Wild West game. not only that, but she has points in Barter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpRxj0QwgjY and animal whisperer too 'cause she was good with that horse in the movie

itry posted:Lucia is the only real companion in the game. The rest are just kinda there. She gets a LOT of characterization compared to Kwon or Jodie. Kinda wish they had personal quests for those two as well
