Pretty good! If anyone has any b-sides they wanna recommend, I'm all ears. I'm the reverse of this. I got into K-pop with Red Velvet and have only recently taken a deep dive into Twice. They're like the perfect distillation of pop music. I have no idea what they're singing about, but their songs will get stuck in my head all day long. Like I'll be chopping vegetables and realize I'm chopping to the rhythm of "kno-kno-kno-kno-knock on my door."

I upgraded to a 4K TV and Studio Choom has been an amazing showcases of its abilities. K-pop in general has been putting out the best 4K content this past year. Searching for "k-choreo" on Youtube is a pro move. With the pandemic going on all these k-pop groups are still performing on stage shows, and because there's no audience, the studios are setting up UHD cameras front row center to replicate the experience of being there. Centusin posted:And lol, first half of the year being low key, the studio choom alcohol free was shot like 4 months before the comeback even happened, the japanese album right after the korean comeback didn't just generate itself in a month either and choreography for 3 separate title songs (Kura Kura, Alcohol Free, Perfect World) didn't just pop into their heads overnight and they magically knew it all. And don't forget the English single they have coming out next month.

Ooof, the camera crew covering Aespa for the Thanksgiving parade got Giselle confused for Winter. Every time Winter had a solo part the camera cut to a closeup of Giselle not singing.

They've gotten a lot bigger in SK these last two comebacks, charting better than Aespa's latest for instance. Them selling half what the biggest groups are does not seem suspicious to me. Anecdotal, but I was at Twice's concert in Atlanta and before it started they showed a sizzle reel of JYP groups. With each one that came up the crowd cheered. NMIXX got one of the loudest sustained cheers there, on the same level as what Itzy got. NiziU barely had anyone cheer for them.
