this thread is a really good read, thank you! i am an old drum and bass DJ that got bored last year and started listening to and mixing kpop as it is a huge challenge and really energetic and fun. I go back and forth but i am getting oriented and figuring out what's good. Also I know the Korean words for motorcycle and girlfriend now, so it's a learning experience on several levels.

as a newbie with still developing particular tastes, that brave girls falls super flat for me in every aspect but the one where i loving love choruses where they have extended dance lines with like 30 people. It's still a good tune but i'll wait for more I do love the summer bop vibes of kpop it seems like everybody puts out happy palm tree and sunshine videos this time of year, instead of winter where they're all crying blood and wearing tim burton costume department dresses (which i love tbf)

personal take is that black mamba is a stone cold banger and next level hit me like a plate of mashed potatoes somebody left on the counter overnight. for a growin-on-me track, i realized last night that Perfect World is a lot better than i gave it credit for at release. i actually did a rewind on it during the workout. Also PTT. Couldn't stand that song at first, now it's way up there for me.
