CainFortea posted:I think Zuko looking for his mother is in one of the comics as well. I seem to recall the producers saying they were given the choice of having a TV movie epilogue that was all about finding Ursa or they could have Legend of Korra, and they chose Korra and punted finding Ursa off to the comics. And to be fair, the comics make for a fairly decent de facto Book Four of the show. They're a tiny bit hamhanded in places, especially the ones that deal with the politics of each nation in the post-war, pre-Republic City awkward years of the Avatar world, but over all they're fine.

Sokka also did more material damage to Ozai's forces than any other character who wasn't already in the White Lotus with his airship slice stunt, so that's nothing to sniff at.

Asgerd posted:TIL Aubrey Plaza doesn't even remember being on Legend of Korra: A lot of actors kind of sleepwalk through or memory hole voice work. For example, Marina Sirtis doesn't remember recording dialog for Mass Effect 1, even though she's one of its principal villains. The con panel Q&A where she confesses this is loving hilarious and you should track it down because Marina Sirtis is the best.
