Someone should let anthem singers know that making anthems even longer does not make them better. Thanks for starting the game at 10:45 eastern NHL. Go Canucks.

The Canucks look slow here. I don’t think I’ve ever watched a Vegas game but they are incredibly aggressive.

Well it’s starting to look like all those Vancouver in 4 predictions may not be correct after all.

I was going to congratulate Tofolli but I bet I could have scored on that pass from Pettersson.

I want to see power play 2 with Boeser hoping Pearson can do anything while Roussel skates around in circles.

Jake Virtanen doing useful things. Also those Tuch swings were almost Semin-esque.

Pina Colada time. I constantly find myself this year thinking the Canucks were done and constantly find myself wrong. They aren’t winning the cup but no one can say this team folds.

Now re sign Markstrom

Plus when you let in 2 goals on 3 shots it just makes them need to shoot less! Canucks actually don’t look awful here, just some really big gaffes.

I would like to formally suggest they add one goal at the end of the game for whichever team has the best face off percentage. Or maybe... 3 goals?

We really need Boeser to get going. Sadly he’s been dropped to Virtanen’s spot/line so it’s not going to happen now I’d imagine.

I feel like I’d rather scratch Sutter and put Loui in. He looked mildly decent against the Wild but he’s doing absolutely nothing out there.

I definitely laugh when Loui misses empty nets or his stick breaks on a shot. The biggest difference is Loui isn’t going to ever score despite being sometimes in good places. Sutter doesn’t even get to those places. He just... exists.

I feel like Vegas is just a better team and it won’t kill me when we lose to them this year. That said, Benning is screwed next year because now people have expectations.

The Vancouver Canucks have a starting goalie who formerly played for Florida and a back-up who used to be a star for Boston College playing lights out trying to steal the starting job.

Someone call Mike Gillis.

I don't know about you guys but I'm fine and not at all nervous. I have maintained this whole time that getting this far is gravy, but if you could just go ahead and win this Vancouver I'll be quite okay with that.

On pace for 72-0 shots on net. This does not seem like the best game plan.

I do not understand how every Vegas line can dominate every Canucks line. Vegas should have to score more goals than Vancouver gets shots in order to win.

Wippersnapper

If the Canucks have never lost in the playoffs when getting 2 shots in net in a period and then they get only 2 in the 2nd period that’s like a 200% chance to win.

This game should probably end with the sudden reveal that Loui was dressed and they hid his stick under the bench and he scores on his own net.

Edit: Oh good a power play these work well for us today.
