It's time to kick the tires and light the fires, Big Bird.


Just rewatched the first season a few months ago and it totally holds up, and its attention to detail is insane. The biggest flaw IMO is who they cast to play OJ himself -- Cuba's a fine actor, but the real OJ is a huge dude with deep, booming voice that just dominates every room he's in. Cuba came across as more whiny than anything, whereas the real OJ was somebody who you could imagine as being absolutely terrifying when he's angry. If I were casting the show I would have gotten the dude who played AC to be OJ instead.

The Versace season was .... fine? Darren Criss was great but I honestly don't think the reverse chronological gimmick really added anything but making me confused as to how his motivation evolved episode to episode. Would be interested in watching a chronological cut though, if one exists.
