Since we're talking adverse weather great, how realistic is it to throw on a layer of thermals under my summer gear for cool/cold weather (coming from socal, where it's not going to get THAT cold).

I need some new pants, and I want to get some summer ones since it's generally so warm here.

I originally bought some Sedici Alonso "Hybrid" pants that basically had some leather panels sewn on the butt and knees, and they've been fine as a beginner. The problem is that they don't fit that well- if I cinch the velcro strap in front as tight as it goes, they're ok, but I can feel them falling in the back.

Are there good leather pants that have decent airflow? I'd prefer that to mesh.

Obviously all motorcycles should have reflective streamers coming out of the handlebars like children's bicycles do for visibility. And those plastic things that clack on your spokes.
