List of my favorite type of monsters from D&D, a game I have never played but I had a monster book for when I was 10

10. Nupperbibos: they are creepy gross things you turn into when you go to hell
9: Dragon Fairies: you can have a dragon as a fairy pet

6:Beholder: I played Ultima 6 all the time when I was a kid and these things were terrifying
5: Lich: This is what happens when you enter academia as a career immediately when you get your bachelor's and pursue higher education
4: Purple Worm: like tremors but a lot bigger
3: Gnomes: these guys are hiding something
2: Gibbering Mouther: huge mound of teeth and eyes and can babble weird poo poo that makes you insane
