good point, i phrased that poorly. if i am the one derailing poo poo, im definitely not town. but if poo poo is getting derailed merely with me as the focal point, that's just what happens every game because when im not instigating it on purpose, im a magnet for scum to derail poo poo anyway (at least in this game there will be setup spec and poo poo to talk about for 100 pages)

not to be rude, but maybe i overestimated your reading comprehension ability. or at least your logical thinking. "This back and forth will continue until one player owns both items at which time they will get the boon and the items and the influence stat will no longer exist within the game." does this passage from the OP make you think influence has other uses outside of the one detailed in the OP...?
