Occasionally, stupid baseball trivia wins things. Years and years ago, pre-internet, Dad took me to a minor league game that had a trivia contest: Who was the winning pitcher in the first night game in World Series history? He was also upset over the baseball being used, that its core had too much rubber in it instead of being an actual dead ball.
