Personally I think JJ should sign a sweetheart deal with some divisional team to get revenge on the Texans. The worst part of this disaster for the Texans is that the owner is completely on board with the bad GM, so who knows how long this will last.

If anyone can fix Wentz, it’d be Reich. That’s a big if, though. Colts should take him for a low pick, he’s a gamble but they have the cap space and they might salvage him. Paying anything higher, especially a first, would be dumb and even the couple of seconds that’s been rumored is too rich.

As the forums' Chief Colts Hater (CCH) it pains me to admit that I like this deal for the Colts. It's a low cost flyer on someone who, in Reich's system, has shown he can thrive and be a top 10 QB. It's a better option than Brissett for sure.

I actually like those conditions as it will incentivize Reich to bench him if he doesn't come around. The fact is that it's pretty hard to get a franchise QB when the rest of the roster is good enough to go .500. Trading up for Fields or Nance would cost the same or more, and are no more of a guaranteed thing.
