I hate getting saddled with the rear end-end of a double-header in the first week of every year. It always goes too late for football on a weeknight.

But ALSO Lock had more than one instance of having no grasp of the present situation. He threw an inaccurate endzone bomb with like 3 minutes left when all they needed to do was dink/dunk and eat clock. The fact that we were in the game at all was kind of a farce anyway. Looking forward to Sutton+Jeudy+Fant at some point.

I was so optimistic about Denver at least being something to watch but Sutton going out has broken me. There is nothing fun about watching Jerry Jeudy run for his life while his JV co-receivers get blacked out. And then on the other side of the ball Chubb looks like rehab is still going and our cornerbacks are clueless. I'm sure Chris Harris will get two picks on Lock in week 10 to rub salt in the wound.
