Don't remake any of them. 1 and 2 remakes are perfect. 3 remake is bad and lazy but so was 3 so it makes sense. Everything else is fine. We don't need remakes of games from 10 years ago.

I'm thinking of lining up a replay of Parasite Eve this October. Or alternately checking out the sequel, though I hear it's not nearly as good. What gamers truly need is a remake of Parasite Eve and Dino Crisis 1+2. All of these games are gems who would be incredible in an ambitious remake like re2.

The turnaround time from remake 2 -> remake 3 was like insanely short so i wasnt really surprised how it came out, but to echo other people in the thread it was pretty faithful to re3 in how linear it was

The last like 4 years of these threads I posted that I was going to put real time into Alien: Isolation and Darkest Dungeon, and I finally beat Alien last October so I guess it’s Darkest Dungeon’s turn this year. I’ve also got SOMA, the Evil Within games, and Resident Evil 2 remake so it’ll be a busy October

I'm pretty sure Nemesis even being called Resident Evil 3 was a contractual obligation to have a numbered sequel on a Sony platform, and Code Veronica was developed as the "true" sequel so it's kind of a player move on Capcom's part to now crumple Code Veronica into a ball and go "we did '3', time to do 4" really because 4 was already a good game and updating Code Veronica would probably be hard
