He could really use a couple of more years of seasoning in this group and to build up his promo ability. people are conditioned by wwe's ability to gently caress up a young promising star's potential reeeeeallly quickly so there's probably lots of subconscious "separate them before it's too late and they get typecast" fear set in. jungle boy is still really young. remember guys it took 7 years before Buff became The Stuff.

i can't think of too many promotions that have as many concurrent ACTIVELY progressing storylines for as many different tag teams as AEW does.

my expectation is they probably do Blood and Guts sometime in the fall for Dark Order vs Nightmare Family, maybe at Full Gear and he's part of the nightmare family's team after QT is taken out. also stop worrying about "slots", this isn't super smash bros speculation. They can have as many people as they can afford and i wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the more recent signings are on pay-per-appearance non exclusive deals to play nice with other smaller companies. This is a company with a profitable TV deal and a billionaire's budget behind it. It's fine.

we're nearing 52 episodes of dynamite and i can think of exactly one episode where i walked away thinking "what the hell was that" (dark order beatdown at the end of 2019) and even then they were able to pivot it into something that made sense

oh but seriously I posted:I like them conceptually but physically, they look cheap. I'd have the ramps protruding through a gigantic metal "AEW" so that heels emerge from under the arch of the "A" and faces appear from the a crook of the "W" this is just giving me bad memories of the 1999 wcw logo stage
