They released close to each other, they aren't even the same genre but you always compare the two igdi. Tbh I don't even understand why you dislike it so much, because you seemed to love CP2077 and the best parts about that game are pretty similar to the stuff TW3 does well and thats not even taking into account that 2077 had so many issues. I don't even like TW3 as much as most people seem to, but it undeniably does a lot of stuff pretty well that stands out. If you think the quest design and world suck I'd at least like to hear why for the first time, because I have never heard any reasoning behind it other than you calling it bad because Bloodborne also exists.

Yeah 2077 is very much what the tw3 base game is. What 2077 lacks is all the things that made tw3 good, namely meaningful side quests and 2 banging dlcs

Are you planning on comparing dying light 2 to Elden ring any time it comes up for the next ten years, because they are being released in the same month? Why does it even matter? No one else even compares the two games, because they aren't really worth comparing and they also aren't sports teams where you have to pick a side.

I'm not gonna pretend CP2077 isn't a highly flawed game, but it is fun and those videos people make like "look if you shoot da water in GTA it splashes and in CP2077 it doesn't lollll" are the pettiest poo poo. If you are looking for GTA don't get Cyberpunk because it's not that, despite a lot of surface similarities.

I'll probably finish C2077 at some point (I stopped at about 20 hours when some turret controls became permanently frozen on the screen) but at this point it's like, why not just wait for the free PS5 upgrade

I actually like 2077 more than TW3 as well, but it mostly boils down to it being thematically way more interesting to me. At least at this point in time I feel like TW3 is obviously the better game on paper though.
