one moment from ico i very clearly remember is when you finally make it to the bridge leading out to the temple and it collapses, leaving yorda barely clinging on. i stopped on a loving dime and doubled back to (futilely) pull her up again - there was no prompt, barely even a camera swing, the game just trusted you to have gotten invested enough at that point to try and save her of your own volition another reason why the endless tooltips and voiceover tutorials for TLG annoyed the hell out of me

yeah it's highly recommended to bounce around stages instead of trying to grind through them one at a time, because the difficulty between zones is variable and they get often get nastier as you move further into each zone (2-2 is harder than 5-1, for example, whereas most of 4-1 will snap you like a loving twig)

The game ran mostly fine on PS4 Pro, but there was always a hitching issue every few seconds when driving. It's totally gone on PS5. the last guardian running at a smooth 30 makes a huge difference during numerous setpieces

The Pathless is extraordinarily good for anyone who hasn't picked it up yet basically combines Journey's flowing movement with Breath of the Wild's scattered environmental puzzles and minimalist overworld navigation
