The 1st Maryland BBQ I had was Mission BBQ. Found out it was a chain, and the chuddiness of the place turned me off to them immediately.

There was some hole-in-the-wall place in Rockville that was nice.

Out in Laurel there was this Indian/Italian place I took my mom to after her stint in the hospital that had this bomb-rear end chicken tikka masala pizza. 10/10 would recommend unconventional fusion places.
