tbf we're already doubled up on other weapon/element combos, and Ganyu being a DPS would set her enough apart from Diona who is some sort of healer. just seems unreasonable to expect Ganyu leaks this early when we know the other characters are the ones in active testing.

To be fair, gun is almost certainly going to be a future weapon type if they actually are looking to expand on things. There's way too much evidence that gunpowder (albeit of a magical sort) is a thing for at least one nation. Maybe not-France will include it. I think there's a cyro swordswoman coming with the Japanese region that's basically a quickdraw specialist. Videos that leaked showed her as having what looked like a katana that she uses in an iaijutsu style. So unless they're going to do some serious model work with existing swords that's a potentially new weapon type there. Alternatively, maybe it'll end up being a new default and charged move set.

gently caress me i forgot that switching characters while attacking stormterror drops you on the ground and i had to do an entire extra phase over it and he had <300hp left. what a loving horribly designed fight

switching characters sometimes shifts your character position for some reason, if you switch characters a lot while standing on the ground during the fight you'll probably see it happen. if you're on his neck the result just seems to be clipping through him sometimes, its real annoying.

I usually have the problem of characters blinking around a bit if I mash the key to swap too quickly— which unfortunately glitches you through Stormterror’s neck.

Not sure which weapon to use for Klee, options are Solar Pearl if I buy BP/Sacrificial Fragments/Widsith/the 4* craftable ones. Also wondering which one would be best on Ningguang, I really like her but she's been benched lately with a lovely 3* book from shortly after I started

Ningguang's weapon choice depends how you're going to build her, since she can run support with a set of Petra artifacts and use Proto Malice/Thrilling Tales for team buffs and more durable screens. stuff like Mappa Mare/Sacrificial aren't as great since their EM boosts don't affect a damaging reaction, and for similar reasons the Widsith could end up a dud if it rolls the EM buff instead of atk% or ele dmg%. DPS Ning would probably want Solar Pearl but that's also one of your better options for Klee since her second passive has crit synergy. Klee can actually use all three effects of Widsith though.

I like the Solar Pearl on Klee for the crit damage since her crit charged attacks will give party members 2 elemental energy(once you get to that talent). Ideally you're doing normal-charged-normal-charged, or two normals until you hit the spark. Right now I have 54.4% crit on her and it seems to power up everyone's energy fairly well.

Almost at AR 36. Once I do Venti’s quest I think I’m done till next patch. I was mainly playing past AR 29 cause I heard how good his quest is Not that I wasn’t still enjoying myself. But it is starting to feel grindy.

It's rubber-banding. If you switch characters right after climing up there, you'll warp back to where you were a second or too ago. If you've been standing up on his neck for a good few seconds already then you should be able to switch safely. This also works in the opposite direction: high-ping players can jump off something tall, do a plunging attack, then quickly switch characters and end up warping upwards and appearing midair, where you can plunge-attack all over again. It's apparently posible to chain this infinitely.

Funnily enough, I'll probably have a few days where I feel kind of lost without BP boxes to check off. Then again, there's always a use for extra Mora, and it might be a decent time to make sure I've got the resources to advance a second main for Spiral Abyss. Hard to run out of stuff to do in this game.

A level 60 enemy you see during your daily commission might be easily one shot, but a level 50 of that same enemy in a domain might take ten times the punishment. It's really weird.

I feel like there's something going on mechanically because one of the slimes has a giant swirl around it and another has a small circle and my team just starts getting one shot no matter who is out. Also there's some sword buff happening on my team. Wait I think that's the HP > 50% more ATK thing probably. I guess looking at this I'm not actually underleveled, but man putting together teams feels brutal. Especially when jerks can be Klee Immune. Spent all my resin today on talent books and I think I upgraded three. Feel like I'm being pulled in nine directions grinding mats for ascension and artifacts and talents and weapons and ahhhh.
