Going to hype Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear as a wholesome isekai. Also, it seems that Yuukoku no Moriarty is heavily anticipated, so I'll probably catch that as well.

Watched Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear episode 1, and oh no. Oh no. I hope this doesn't go the route of "Make My Ability Average".

gimme the GOD drat candy posted:it's fluff and that's it. the webnovel makes it very clear that it was written one chapter at a time, with absolutely no planning. I've read the entire web novel, so the fact that the first episode deviates so badly is concerning.

Talentless Nana dangled out a bait in episode 1, and snagged me in 2. Episode 2 was so goddamn chilling, i actually shivered at the end. drat. Thanks for the recommendation.

Sleepy Princess is somehow still making the theme of 'princess wants to sleep' work after 4 episodes, and making it work very well indeed. I'm learning more and more ways to ensure a comfortable night in case of insomnia.

I can somewhat understand this latest one? Person sees the future, sees that he's attacked, and uses it to blackmail out of impulse. He thinks the future is absolute, so as long as he can defend against the attack that is going to happen, he's fine, and another picture proves it in his mind. Granted, it was an absolute stupid idea to sleep with her around, but he's just a teenage kid? I am rather creeped out by him though, and was rooting for Nana throughout. To date: Nanao - completely off guard, and first kill so didn't realize what's going on. Shibusawa - overconfident in his ability, and even me as the viewer didn't see the kill coming. Michiru - been bullied her entire life, Nana is the only one close to her, she has no reason to suspect anything. Kyouya - knows what's going on, but has no idea why it's going on, and no way to get evidence, because school is on Nana's side rather than his. Talentless Nana is easily the show of the season of me, and depending on how it goes, could be of the year as well. I've read the manga though and it needs a second season, and maybe even third in the future.

From this year alone, Bofuri, Sleepy Princess and Nana are all better in anime format than manga. In order: Bofuri - benefits from better action scenes and montage sections, especially that montage music setting up for the final one. Sleepy princess - The quest introductions are beautiful, and the humor works far better here. Nana - Nana's double voice, color filters, and the double face imagery all stand out compared to the manga. Eeepies fucked around with this message at 08:18 on Dec 1, 2020 |
