This move makes perfect sense from McConnell's perspective. The White House is a lost cause so you might as well get a start on sabotaging the Biden administration. I'll be less worried that my friends will be blackbagged for organizing if Biden wins. I mean, I'm still worried about getting beaten and teargassed in the streets, and, well, let's face it, maybe shot at by CHUDs or illegally arrested for a few days by the local PD or getting prosecuted under trumped up conspiracy to riot charges. But getting outright permanently disappeared by DHS seems like more of a Trump Part 2 danger than a Biden danger.
