Was gonna weigh in on the "Simp vs. Paypig" question, but this really muddies the water. If this woman mocks and humiliates her simps for paying her, and if her simps pay her for the pleasure of being so mocked, then, even by the strictest definition of the word, her simps are also paypigs.

I just think that with all of these parasocial relationships formed with internet personalities, which are a new form of media personality, is attracting a new form of fan. Its not like these people obssesed with Eminem, because he's so unattainable that you can't get close to him. But with these streamers and stuff you can interact with them and affect them in a way that is meaningful enough for people to really like, claim ownership over them. You can't donate your entire life savings to Eminem but you can do it to StreamerLady420, and that is unique and new. The whole "paypig" thing seems different again because it has a sexual element.

I grew up with guys who absolutely were convinced that the deck was so stacked against them that they would never be loved. They eventually got older, got through it, and have been in meaningful relationships. They were fortunate enough to be born in an era where there werent really widespread online communities for people in that situation. So while they had to face down their hangups more or less alone, they didnt have others feeding them bullshit about how things will never change. I think its pretty easy to take pot shots at the uglier side of the incel culture but at the end of the day there is a very serious mental health crisis in the US and I think a lot of these guys need to be brought into the fold instead of pushed away despite how repulsive their views might be at first glance.

I maintain that "simp" is gender-neutral and that it is one's actions that define simp-hood. Women on judge shows who try to sue their ex-FWBs for large amounts of money that they voluntarily gave them are simps too. You're expecting lewd photos and paying for the right to view them, the people who do OnlyFans are just more amateur, more easy to find directly and have smaller fanbases. Actual simps are going into the weird streamer-viewer relationship with the express knowledge and intent of not getting anything in return as a way to show how non-sexual they are, in a weird attempt to make themselves seem not like creeps and win over their desired streamer (leading to having a chance to grow the relationship into sex, in their head). It's a weird push and pull of being sexually attracted to someone (that you can't get) and trying to show them just how okay you are that all you'll ever have is a platonic love through giving them all of your money and time.
