RIC alumni �13 - somehow managed to do it in four years AND get a job in my joke field.

I love/hate RI. Hella parochial, taught me how to be a angry queermo, deserves far better than it gets, but holy poo poo please make it affordable for non-Brown/RISD grads to live in. In the four years of living there I still have people I can play six degrees of separation with. gently caress, chances are I�ve met more goons than I know of.

I think about the vegan Mac n Cheese from AS220 a lot. I�d move back there if I was in the states but like, the socialized healthcare is really nice.

Yeah the Newport crowd ruined Rhode Island. When he founded Rhode Island it was explicitly anti-slavery - it had the first abolition law in the colonies in 1652, but the rich assholes in Newport ruined it by dipping their hands deep into blood (you'll find rich people from Newport ruin everything).

I grew up in southeastern Rhode Island, went to Brown, and now live in Providence, ask me anything!

No one go to Little Compton Rhode Island. It's a terrible place and no one should ever find out about it and come visit and summer / vacation there because it's terrible. You might hear it's basically an oceanfront paradise basically unknown outside of Rhode Island thus making it an affordable and idyllic vacation spot but those people are liars.

Definitely don't do a google image search for it

We have every season to a reasonable not extreme degree, and you can get to any place in less then 30 minutes. RI is like the lazy man's everyplace. We don't have anything that stands out as a must see, but there is a bit of everything to some degree.

Yup definitely not any picturesque sand beaches 100 feet down the way so you get the best of both worlds with quality surfing (for New England) on exposed rocky areas along with sandy beaches a tenth of a mile down for relaxing.
