The mean mean Rays keep allowing Astros runners into scoring position for the express purpose of making their “average with runners in scoring position” look like poo poo. Very sad!

They can't even steal signs the "honorable" way of having a guy on second base.

"Freeman can't field" is such a baffling take I see so often, and it's moments like that which really cement it as batshit.

I don't know how much the wind has to do with it because he's absolutely painting the corners. I'm an idiot and don't know poo poo about pitching mechanics, but that seems like it'd be harder to with wind, yeah?

That it would’ve taken a miracle to avoid losing the series in 6 and the Braves aren’t quite good enough to hang with a team of this caliber.

We got the miracle in game 4, but it might have just prolonged things.

I dunno, the combo of Fried and Anderson gives me hope we can win at least one of those there if we don't win today. Going in my thought was "we lose the middle three we gotta win the other four" and we've gone past that.

sure, and some of this is just decades of pessimism and despair on my part, plus my own terrible brain disorders, but Fried and Anderson are both performing so far above any reasonable metric for this point in their careers that even if they don't get it done, it shouldn't be a disappointment. pushing the Dodgers to 7 would be a huge accomplishment, albeit one that will feel like a missed opportunity if that's how it plays out.

I mean it's fair, given the team we're rooting for. Honestly didn't expect us to get past the WC series, them getting this far feels like a fever dream. Especially when you factor in how we have like two starters. If we lose in seven I think I'll be fine. Bummed, but proud we managed to win a couple playoff series and take the dodgers to a full series.
