I thought should I purchase a PlayStation five or whatever that Xbox one is and then I remembered that I am nearly 40 years old and have better things to do with my time like thinking about all my achievements of my 20s and 30s...

I made the naïve assumption that in 2020 we would surely have cheap and small UPS devices with lithium ion batteries that don’t weigh 10 lbs but apparently the typical duty cycle is better suited for lead acid or something because they sure as gently caress don’t seem to exist for less than two bills

That's probably why they like the lead acid batteries so much, when the cheap lovely ones go bang at least it doesn't trigger a complete meltdown
|
# ? Oct 17, 2020 08:40 |
|
plus that lead acid likes sitting around fully charged indefinitely, which li-ion does not.

I had this old pc with an amd processor and graphics card that drew power like crazy and got real hot to the point it would trip the breaker in a heated gaming sesh. I got an ups to give myself enough time to run and reset the circuit before it drained.
