They are currently tinkering on what I gather is approximately a modern day version of the V2 engine, with a combustion chamber perhaps inspired by the baffles-added design from the man-rated Rocketdyne F-1 engines used on Apollo 7 and up. I only wish they had a charismatic front person to help with fund raising. Working with PM kind of gave everybody on the team an acquired and well-deserved distaste for big egos. So they're very careful to always present their effort as the work of the whole group with nobody in particular being in charge.
