it's crazy that a dude is sitting at 98 and dudes are just hammering it, i remember when a dude who threw 96 was an absolute flamethrower and now these hitters are just shrugging off 100 with movement like it's nothing

I know, right?!? I remember the first year I got really, really into baseball, just became a baseball lunatic, there were MAYBE a half-dozen guys across MLB whose average velocity was in the 95-96 mph range.


It’s like I was talking yesterday, about the prototypical shortstop way back when.
