This is definitely significantly better than AMFP. I don't know if it quite has the impact TDD did when I first played it but it's nonetheless an incredible game and one of the most unsettling and tense videogames I've played in a good long while, and it does some cool stuff with the themes set up in its predecessor. If you're on the fence I absolutely recommend giving it a go.
