Cheating at a raffle? I sentence you to 1 year in jail! No! Two years! Three! Four! Five years! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!

I got the impression these were more like, personal things you kept for yourself in your room. I see they have some necklaces/bracelets so there's a social aspect to them, but I wouldn't see myself wearing them unless it was for something I was really proud of.

e: A lot of the ideas on kickstarter seem *really* dumb, but also im all about people getting out of their comfort zones because a depressing amount of people go through life unfulfilled and if chasing some token means you might end up discovering you really freaking love karaoke or realizing that running often helps resolve your depression, then thats great. But still, the vast majority of these are....what

Ugh, exactly the type of person I'd expect to back this sort of thing. There'll probably be a set for "fur babies" I bet.

Sorry I meant to say I hope that the police use maximum force and kill or maim a bunch of innocent people, thus paving a way for a proletarian uprising and socialist utopia

Exactly. The "social" aspect of it would be "hey, what's that on your wrist?". Oh well it's a reward! "A reward for what?" One I gave to myself for cleaning my room! "Oh... who gives a poo poo."

No one would recognize it. It's completely arbitrary.

Do not call me that!
Snuffles was my slave name.
You shall now call me Snowball; because my fur is pretty and white.
These are the same guys that invented fidget cubes a few years ago and made a billion dollars on Kickstarter. They must have amazing insight into the nerd mindset and how to extract maximum dollars from the terminally-online.

No but there was one for an "Eat poo poo and die" pin.

It didn't do all that well. The artist has since put his Etsy shop on hiatus due to "mental problems".

the best thing is lovely knockoffs will flood the market as well
cant wait to see terrible versions of these with marketing slogans on them at a convention ("joined email list", "demoed product", etc)
and the one booth that has the "cool ones you have to get"

Also, if you order the knockoff from aliexpress you will probably get it before the people who actually backed the kickstarter get theirs.

We laugh now, but in a few decades, the newly elected president of the united states will flash one of these at his (or her!) inauguration.

I'm not making a joke here. I am making an honest prediction. Barring, you know, collapse of society, this is going to happen.
