In my town when a person turns 16 they're put in a room and made to watch every anime. Most come out completely immune to anime. A small percentage can't handle it and get into anime, but they're immediately destroyed.

Anime is like a brightly colored little frog. Kinda slimy and off-putting but if you lick it juuust right you might enjoy it but most likely you'll die a terrible death
