Jesus Christ. Like, Tatis owns and is great for the sport so I get why you'd wanna sign him, but 14 years? That seems insane.

He'll still only be 36. Trout'll be 39 and Betts'll be 40 when their contracts are up. The Padres get out from under Tatis before he gets old old.
