My wife and I are taking a campervan into the Scottish Highlands for a few days. I'll have no internet access nor desire to seek it out. There are so many contradictions in trump's 'policies' about illegal immigration. On the one hand, he's gonna bring down grocery prices, housing prices, and childcare costs. On the other hand, he's gonna deport millions of illegals, many- if not most-of whom work in agriculture/food processing, construction, and childcare. Somehow this will not raise costs in those areas. No I will not be taking questions.

workers won't get deported. capitalism needs them. they just want to be able to shoot people at the border and be able to harass minorities in the streets. if they deport the workers then they will lose one of the foundations of their entire party platform. I don't think that's what they want.

The city has been a complete shithole for years, and has only recently had a revitalization with new work opportunities that drew people to it. It's a good thing, and all of this racism is basically "we want the city to 'bounce back' but oh wait not with those people" and is very sad.
