This is also the first time I’ve gotten a bite on a Harpoon reference, so I am equally pleased.

CMANO may be the King now, but sinking commie boomers and sending B-52’s and others out on a STRIKE mission in Harpoon will never not be a ton of fun. I’m very happy I picked up that complete collection a few years ago of the classic and sequels.

I am actually connected with Larry Bond on Facebook and him and a bunch of other old school game designers are shockingly cool people with progressive political opinions. It's pretty refreshing to see people who built your childhood not be total chuds.

I am glad someone else remembered that game. I spent hours upon hours with the scenario editor re-creating Isandhlwana. I found it on one of those abandon ware sites and it holds up far better than many games of the era. I may even use it to teach ROTC cadets about the Battle of The Little Bighorn.

Did any of us really expect anything else? I mean, the rear end in a top hat has been throwing this narrative out there for a while. I have only checked Facebook cautiously once (most of my Facebook crap is historical military crap, Great Lakes Cargo boats and cats) and the morons are already inventing conspiracy theories. Hell, the dumbest rear end in a top hat from my High School graduating class is convinced that it's a crime. And another is telling to pray for the stupid bastard.

I am worried about Meal Team Six trying something. Of course, I live in South Dakota, where Stalin would win if he has an (R) by his name.

We have to look at what those civilian casualties are- just because they're civilian doesn't make them innocent!

God drat Grover was a turd.

But he gifted the internet one of it's greatest treasures, Grover Haus. A magnificent castle of failure and melted siding due to greasy cheap meat.

Here in Virginia I always try and talk up General Thomas, the Rock of Chicamauga, victor of the battle of Nashville, and I believe the only Virginian general who remained loyal to the Union. Standing by his country even though his entire traitorous family disowned him to me is far more moral courage than Col. Lee ever showed. It's amazing how all the southern heritage types have never heard of one of the most successful Virginian generals during the civil war. He doesn't have the name recognition alas, but it is my dream for a Gen Thomas statue to replace Lee down in Richmond.

Thomas gets overlooked. He is in my top three with Grant and Sherman. Thomas was insanely innovative with the technology available, solid with logistics and administration and knew how to delegate. He also destroyed Hood outside of Nashville.
