I do recall in the lead-up to the 2016 election, when he was expecting to lose to Hilary, there were plans to start a network of his own. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this is what he does if (hopefully) Biden wins.

That was never going to happen with a Biden/Harris ticket. There was zero motivation to go vote for them. 30% of registered democrats in my county in florida stayed home last yesterday.

the most shocking thing to me about the election was that trump gained around 3m votes nationwide.

Trump allowed people to be their worst selves openly without any real repercussions, it isn't too much of a surprise that he gained more people. Humans can be awful and terrible once any kind of social empathy is taken away.

I agree, but there is no guarantee as to how the future will shake out anymore. We're in thoroughly uncharted waters and the only things we know are coming are climate change, pandemics, and a world where at least I can't even picture a future in ten years. At least if Biden wins, we have some time to prepare something, as feeble as it may be.
