As Nero Danced posted:From the decision desk folks, Pennsylvania's results. I don't know if there was a misplaced decimal or not but... ok! Those decision guys had FL 352,000,000 for Trump. I refreshed before screenshot.

As Nero Danced posted:I'm pretty sure someone on the backend keeps getting the tables confused and is putting the anticipated vote totals in one or the other's current vote box, or something stupid like that. I won't hold it against them because I'm poo poo at running web pages myself. The grocery store didn't deliver limes, so I'm on beer tonight.

Hot Karl Marx posted:pretty sure trump is just gonna declare himself the winner at like 11-12 PM no matter what the results are Also mlmp08 posted:Basically if Biden didn’t win very fast, it will be a longer, more drawn out thing after which one of the two will win just cause of vote count methods and timelines. Yup, Biden needed some decisive flips in NC, FL, PA, MI, WI, and OH. FL is basically called for Trump, and both MI and WI don't look good. While Biden is up a few in NC, it's nowhere near a blowout.

Mr. Nice! posted:That was never going to happen with a Biden/Harris ticket. There was zero motivation to go vote for them. 30% of registered democrats in my county in florida stayed home last yesterday. What's funny is marijuana seemed to do well at the ballot box. https://edition.cnn.com/2020/11/04/politics/marijuana-legalization-2020-states/index.html This was an easy give-me to the dems, but, Boomer+prosecutor.

stackofflapjacks posted:Hey now, I was surprised and happy to see Al Gross running for senate in Alaska, he was an orthopedic surgeon who was my families GP because we broke bones so often as kids. He wasn't going to win even against Maryland rear end in a top hat Dan Sullivan but at least new Dems are trying to crack Alaska politics. Sullivan - as a (former) Alaskan, he should have never landed his first term.

ManMythLegend posted:I had this exact same thought yesterday. However, at this point I'm going to wait to see the final data before look for more analysis on this line of thought. Seems reasonable take. Fewer dead Americans, smaller hit to the economy, etc. I wonder what would have happened had he mailed out free "Trump" masks with the stimulus checks and encouraged his supporters to wear them.

CommieGIR posted:Yeah, Spanburger is an idiot, and they keep sacrificing they key supporters to try to court GOP voters away, and it never works. I mean - Spanberger and say - AOC's districts are hugely different. VA made a lot of blue inroads that would probably be considered R voters a decade ago. What she is saying is probably true for a few districts. E: Now - is it worth it to chase the right and sacrifice the left? Probably not.

At my first post (small rear end post in the middle of Africa), my place was bigger than the Gunny's, so I hosted a New Year's party for the MSGs so they didn't have to be on compound for the night. Most ended up going out later to do what enlisted Marines do, but I tried to help them out.

sharknado slashfic posted:Were you the one who ended up with a bunch of them in a truck in some random place looking for a mcdonalds or something? I probably butchered that story, my memory ain't what it used to be. Well, I did organize a guys white water rafting trip to shoot the class 5s on the Nile with a few MSGs. Although almost all of us got food poisoning at the airport after eating some hamburgers so I had to jump out of the truck as they were dropping us off to puke in the ditch. One of the MSGs had to stand post the next day that poor poor bastard.
