I signed up, ohboy Dear santa: What to say? I'm a 35 year old artistic goonette who doesn't get out much, and has spent the best part of 2020 either locked up inside my house because its medically too dangerous for me to go outside, or working frantically in a public facing job. The dichotomy is sometimes too much to bear. I have a cat who mauls me on the reg and I let her, she turned up on my doorstep one day during lockdown here in the UK and I ended up being suckered in to keeping her. Her name is Tuna, and you can see her pictures in my post history. She's the best. She's a big fan of treats, string/feather toys, and cardboard. Cardboard is her crack. Please send a big box so I can post pictures of her being ultra silly in it. Things I like: Scented candles/wax melts (I like woody/earthy scents except pine) pretty scarves, various interesting and unusual snack foods, face masks (the skincare kind!), art, art materials, computer games, anything you want to send to me really, I like presents and I'm excited to see what someone might send me. I am ok with NSFW, just uhhh not on the box as I'll probably have to go pick it up. My favourite colours are turquoise, mustardy orange, rusty reds, greys, but not all together. I estimate this is around the 8th SASS event for me, but it could very well be more! Certainly it is one of the highlights of my holiday season. I always try to give stuff that I would also enjoy with some local flavour. You'll just have to wait and see for the proof! I was again fortunate last year to have a wonderful Santa (Shinmera!) who included a hand-drawn calendar. Goons are the best people. To my Santa, we can message on the site but I will say here please no t-shirts or wall art. I always appreciate things that are handmade, chocolates or sweets and local items. I'm in for my seventh year of SASSMas! It is time for my yearly cut-and-paste of last year's greeting: Hey Santa! You're stuck with me this year! Sorry about that, but hey... I'm a pretty easy-going guy, so it should be pretty simple for you. In fact, this info is pretty much a repost of last year's SASS post. It is super straightforward to find out details about who I am amongst all of the info in my SA profile, my website, and my posting history. I've also been pretty quick to respond to the SASS messaging in the past, so feel free to use that to get some details from me if you need to. I study retrogaming hardware as a hobby, so if you happen to have a few Japanese SFC or PAL SNES cartridges sitting around that you don't want, this is your golden opportunity to get rid of them! Aside from that, feel free to send anything simple (coffee mugs, Christmas ornaments, local university stuff, etc.) that shows off landmarks or cities local to where you live. I also like to receive any handmade things that will remind me in the years to come of my very nice SASS 2020 Santa who is a very thoughtful person (and who would definitely never show up at my house to stab me and my family in our faces). Wait, did I say I have a family? I did! Yay, SASS! I'm back for the whatever-th year. I like what ever fun local stuff Santa deigns I should receive, and I'm particular to collecting magnets from different places, so it's pretty much anything goes. Just no NSFW stuff on the outside of the package, most of the time I have to pick packages up from the front office, and they're pretty uptight. Whoever ends up as my Santee, you're probably getting a handmade scarf and/or hat, even if you live on the sun. I'll make sure to include other goodies too of course!

Cool, this is my first year! I love giving people stuff AND getting things in the mail. To my Santa: I am essentially a trash-loving goblin in the form of a 37 year old woman. I love making art/jewelry/costume props from found stuff/weird stuff I find in thrift stores and garage sales. I love weird/cool/old bits to repurpose! I LARP (well, I did, in the before times,) started with fantasy and still dabble there but my main/favorite LARP genre is post apocalyptic. I love super girly 80s stuff. I love cryptids, spooky things, goth stuff, pastel stuff. I am a Big Girl so clothing probably wouldn’t be the best idea, but if you have your heart set on something I can give you sizes/measurements in private. I craft heavily, I sew, I am in the beginning stages of making resin things (the plastic, not the Weed,) and I also would love handmade things! These are all just ideas, it’s the thought that counts! Important!: I cannot eat gluten, dairy (although I still eat a lot of cheese, cause gently caress that,) oranges or pineapple. None of this by choice, they won’t kill me but will make my life bad for days and days. I like sweet candy as long as its not going to trigger any of my dumb, late in life intolerances. I don’t/can’t drink, I am 420 friendly but I pretty much only do edibles and I’m pretty well stocked at the moment. Please no NSFW. Santee: I am an overachiever and I hope I can make/find some really cool items to stuff your box with! In again for some SASS-MASS. Tenth or so year? Idk, I guess basically every year since it started. Had some bad luck recently, Santee's who had very little SA-presence, so had to really guess on what they wanted, and not always any confirmation here or the SASS messaging that they got or liked anything...so...uhh...idk, maybe I suck at giving gifts? Santa's have mostly been good, one year where I was stiffed, but that was long ago. Santa: I've got a lot of posts here, you can probably figure out what I like. But to save you time, I like local foods/treats/beers/liquors, neat handmade items if that's your thing, and stuff for my handi-capable wiener dog, or my girlfriend's cat.

She's a doctor and recently brought home the covid from her hospital so we've been quarantining for the past few weeks... BUT AT LEAST SASSMAS IS ON! Dear Santa: First thing's first, fair warning, I'm going to be out of town for most of December, so I'm actually going to encourage you to wait until after Christmas proper to send me something. Anyway I am a 38-y.o. man-child. I do computer work and digital art and I try to run for fun and fitness (not that this has been going that well this nightmare year). My weird pet obsession is parachutes and skydiving so if you see anything fun in that vein I'd probably love it. I wear a 2X men's t-shirt if that sort of thing matters. I'm always happy to get fun regional souvenirs or home decoration stuff. Dear Santee: I'm going to try to get something out relatively early. Depending on how inspired I'm feeling I might send something simple early in the month and something supplemental after I'm home from my trip. I also like shoegaze, Dream/Brit Pop. Also Prog rock. Not sure what you'll do with this info but there it is. I like old school basic dungeons and dragons. Old publications, magazines, modules etc. I have 3 large dogs. If you are from a strange land, a sample of local junk food would be cool, chips, candy etc. I really like cinnamon and sweet chilies.
