Game good but I am seriously not into having to use cursor control on PS4. And according to the wider internet there’s no KB/M support planned for console. Can’t lie, I’m a little bummed about that.

After playing this game every night since release, a bit of the luster has faded. It’s still pure magic that they make it work, but as someone with every piece of DLC it needs more music. Even as a fan of the genre, a lot of the EDM tracks lack worthwhile hooks. As huge mash-up fan, the genre lives and dies (died) by variety of hooks. To that end, it needs better mix of genres and more recognizable tunes. I find myself playing less and less and now listening to more of the contest entries to find the random nugget that really burns. It’s something I’ll still keep coming back to, but I doubt they’re ever going get a catalog large enough to make it the kind of daily habit stuff like Rock Band turned out to be. Despite being technically and conceptually far superior.

Yeah I had a solid week of loving it before stopping altogether, I think there's only so many ways you can hear the same songs mixed, sadly. Rock Band and the like had the benefit of objective scoring with multiple difficulty levels to progress through but it's not really possible in a game like this so once I've made the mixes that sound cool and messed with it for a couple hours there's no much else to keep me coming back. The campaign and star rating stuff involved with it was such a misstep.

I've been having an issue where it crashes fairly often when trying to submit a track, I'll have to see if the patch helped, because that was a huge chunk of frustration.

I understand that’s an entirely different undertaking both technically and legally, but if we had access to a library like that this would be drat-near the greatest thing ever. That quickly and someone has already made the definitive mix. I have to say they’ve been killing it with DLC lately. Great selections. I hate Tubthumping but just knowing that sample is available makes all worthwhile.

When I discovered the looper or repeater or whatever its called I spent a good hour loving around with and howling my balls off laughing at a sample of Grandmaster Flash saying "Pissin'" from The Message. This brings the count of songs with the word piss in them up to two. Hmmmm I haven't played this since week two but I bought a Quest 2 recently and was thinking about how much I would love this game as a VR thing

Reviving this desiccated corpse of a thread because I totally missed this game until now and just saw it on the steam summer sale and tried the demo. It’s very fun! I’m a big fan of music games and not having to buy some plastic peripherals for it is a bonus. One thing I don’t really get is how to improve my star rating on the campaign, usually can hit 3 star but that’s it. On the early levels there aren’t a lot of the mechanics unlocked too, how do you boost it up to 5 star em reliably?

keep the crowd meter maxed from the very start as soon as possible, and keep a variety of songs in your crate to fill the requests as if you don’t have enough genres or instruments it straight up won’t give you the requests

No discount so far and it's likely before the big Steam sale starts so lol I guess over the next couple of weeks I'm going to buy the packs and see what I need to buy as singles too. Even though I literally haven't played in over 2 years and for 2.5 hours only, it was still a hell of a thing and delisting is a modern-day waking nightmare so...

Aw man. This game has been one of those that I enjoy but never makes it to the top of the pile. I guess it's just the computer version of Dropmix, which has the same problem. Super fun until it suddenly isn't.
