Hello Games goon,

Some of you stream! And some of you like to watch streams! This thread is a place for those two groups of goons to meet each other. Just post a link to your stream and what you'll be playing or something. Maybe edit in that your stream is over when you finish, if you remember. Or don't, if you forget, it's not a big deal. If you're advertising a future stream, make sure to include a time zone when you say when it will begin.

Someone made a discord for goon streamers to connect to each other in: https://discord.gg/AdR9zacc

If you stream a lot, you can shoot me a PM and I'll put your twitch info in this post.

I'm a UK streamer streaming the Guardian Cryptic Crossword at 1230 UK time every weekday. It's just as incomprehensible and up its own arse as you would expect, so I have lots of fun with the chat. I'm also doing my first ever playthrough of Silent Hill 2 in the evenings, for folks who wants spookums.

Thanks so much!

Hi, I'm Plastic. I play mostly indie games through the week. 9:30 PM - anywhere from 1-3 AM EST, depending on how well things are going.

This week I'm in an X-Com mood, so probably gonna be doing a bunch of that. Like right now, with XCOM 2: War of the Chosen. Stop on by if you feel like it. It's mostly chill.

Stoked to watch goon streams.

I'm trying to start a stream wherein I ride electric bikes around but lmao if it's ever gonna work. Cell service in much of America was not destined for high bandwidth throughput.

Also I just started my channel today because I got a new GoPro that permits broadcasting to Twitch so I'm riding that initial wave of enthusiasm.

I recently started streaming Pokemon Gen 1 - I'm alternating speedrunning Pokemon Yellow and doing a blind playthrough of the ridiculously hard romhack Pokemon Blue Kaizo. Generally, I'm streaming from around 5pm GMT for a few hours most evenings. I also stream M:TG arena and Dominion (the deckbuilding game) when I'm not on the Pokemon train.

I stream with my co-host Goodguy and we play game, lately it's been RPGs like Final Fantasys but we also enjoy co-oping in things that allow it like the Tales of games or the Musou series.

Well this thread came up at just the right time. I started streaming last Saturday and I've been having an absolute blast with it. I've been playing Mario Maker viewer levels for 5 nights in a row and managed to not get tired of it and build up a nice little audience of returning folks already, which is kind of crazy to me.

I'm gonna be mixing in some blind playthroughs of Untitled Goose Game and Dark Souls over the next few nights, but I do plan on Mario Maker being my main game most of the time. Thinking of eventually mixing in stuff like Yakuza, Ori, Transistor, Yoku's Island Express and maybe even some jigsaw puzzles if it doesn't kill my viewership. I also want to start delving into the world of Mario romhacks.

I start my streams somewhere between 9:30pm and 10:30pm EST every night and usually go for 3-5 hours, still kinda finding that sweet spot. I'll start taking nights off when I get tired of it, but for now it's keeping me from snacking at night so it's also an excellent diet plan.

I got into streaming during the first lockdown because I was so desperately missing human interaction/there's not much call for live comedy when getting people together in a room and making them laugh is now attempted murder.

I'm Brainmage here, https://twitch.tv/brainmage if you're keen!

One weekdays at 1230 UK time I stream myself trying to solve that day's Guardian Cryptic Crossword. It's either a nice chill stream with a lovely and inclusive chat, or a nice chill stream with a lovely and inclusive chat while I have a small series of breakdowns at people refusing to adhere to the rules of language:
https://clips.twitch.tv/DrabHotCodAMPEnergyCherry

Evenings I tend to play actual videogames, but that varies.

On that note: Can anyone recommend a HDMI splitter that will strip out HDCP so I can stream from my PS3? You can't turn HDCP off on the PS3 like you can on the PS4, sadly, and I super want to do a New Vegas Christmas playthrough, as I've not properly played it before.

I stream very occasionally, and when I do I almost never speak on stream preferring instead to do things like play DOOM wads or building games with a chill music playlist going. I personally really like that level of second-screen stream but most people understandably do not stream that way since it's not going to draw in a real audience. I will also sometimes stream my group's FFXIV raids though I would not recommend actually watching those. I do have a couple of video/stream projects I want to do over the next year but I'm not sure how active I'll be with it. I'm also going to bully SNU/others into doing more board game streams.

Rx Suicide emailed me and all I got was this amazingly awesome forum account.

Tortured By Flan

That's not me. He's from Skitchin'.

I use to post in the Lets Play section way back when I first started streaming some 6-7 years ago off a PS4, before building a PC on stream that now is kind of out of date. I only posted a few times, as I felt there was a number of other goons who were also putting in work that I didn't want to poach from. Only really lurk these days anyways. Still, somehow, a couple goons made their way into my stream, with a few of 'em still hanging out from time to time. I don't push my channel, which isn't helping me get out of the quagmire of other low view streamers, so maybe popping up in here might give more a reason for someone to stop by and say hello.

Right now it's all about exploring the new PS5 and its games, so if you're interested in the system, it's a good time to check things out. I don't have much a schedule, save for my 3 nights off a week Friday+Weekend, usually from 5am PST until whenever (working nights is lame, but I try to stream after work daily when possible). One last thing I'd like to say: I was once hosted by a nice goon named ProtonJon while playing the awful Double Dragon IV, who I gently caress up and call ProteanJon all the time. He probably doesn't need any plugging, and does a lot more than just play lovely games, so you may find him more interesting.
