Our puppy is five months old and has always been a little gassy. Since he was neutered last month though, he appears to frequently have anal gland smell/secretion about once a day. I doubt the neutering is a factor, but it is possible I guess. Maybe just nerves for a month after the fact. Any recommendations on how to avoid every rear end rubbable fabric in my house to not smell like a dead forest creature?

Sherlock has to get his emptied quite regularly by the vet (every four months or so). Has your dog had his emptied recently?
