I encountered this information from the headline "Umbrella Academy star Elliot Page announces they are trans" and having never seen that show and Page being a not especially uncommon surname assumed that there is a different actor who had been presenting as male but had just revealed that their intention to transition, and since I had never heard of them didn't click through to find out more.
