The only essential oil I've ever used is lemongrass for homemade soap, and you can make it at home for a pittance if you're feeling crafty (you are, if you're making soap).

in like 2002 or something i used ez macros to click banner ads for cash and i turned that cash into a .08 arkaine's valor which made my necromancer extremely powerful. unfortunately it was eventually deleted due to being a dupe so in the end i guess it was all for nothing. lost to the sands of time...

A bad way to make money is to try a dropshipping or print on demand t-shirt/merch business. They're generally not very profitable from personal experience/stories I've heard.

I knew someone who did this for years and would brag about her insane revenue all the time with a ton of screenshots to post on Instagram for "proof." When she finally gave it up, we found out that she'd only been making a few thousand dollars per year in actual profit despite putting in a full-time job's level of effort. I still don't understand if she stuck with it for so long because she thought it would get better or if there was some other reason.

in the past ive gotten multiple temp-to-hire positions through temp agencies. thats where they make the bulk of their money and it's not difficult to stand out or just speak with the people who temp hired you and say, "Hey, if you felt I did a good job today please let the agency know. I've only been on a couple jobs so far, and it would really help me get some consistent work."

if you call in regularly at 6 AM on mondays and let them know youre available theyll try to get you something, and getting placed in office work doesnt require more knowledge about MS Office than being able to do a mail merge. which is incredibly easy with the testing programs they use, since the second you click a wrong option it will prompt you to start over. you could pass their MSWord and Excell tests just by process of elimination

also one time i got placed on a job at the car museum near the la brea tarpits and couldnt find my contact. so i saw another confused guy who didnt seem to know why he was there, who was also from the temp agency. we smoked weed in my car and dicked around checking out the empty museum for several hours, and then we finally found our contact and lied on our timesheets to get more hours. it was a pretty good job

In most cities (at least in America), the average rent is higher than minimum wage. Of course cities are also where most of the jobs are at.

At least covid is forcing some companies to begrudgingly consider maybe allowing remote work.

whippet box said his friend 'almost' paid rent with the money he got from playing Diablo all day. even in New York City, rent would have to exceed ($15/hour * 32 hours * 4 weeks/month = $1920/month) for a full-time minimum-wage job not to cover it.

You can imagine that the argument I'm making is 'minimum wage is plenty for anybody to live on' if you like, but what I'm actually saying is, 'working a minimum-wage job is a better option than farming MMO gold all day'

Hi, new to the forum here but this thread caught my eye as I am interested in making money. What I have been doing for the last 8 months is converting a gas mask I had laying around to be able to huff household chemicals like Scotchgard and other things found under the kitchen sink. Then I made a twitter to post some content and make upwards of 18 dollars a month doing that.

Hope someone here will find that advice helpful.
