the only doom mod i ever played was a custom wad my brother put together where he created a hidden room right by his spawn point that had a light switch for th whole level and light amplification goggles that was the only multiplayer wad he would play. he ruthlessly pwned me for like three months until i saw him go in the door one game and finally got to turn the tables, then he never played doom multi with me again
