Well, I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it.


 I'm really embarrassed to ask this. Looking up my motherboard, I believe that I can upgrade my RAM to 32 gb, but I swear I had read somewhere sometime ago that I cannot upgrade past 16 and that the pin set is outdated. I imagine I'm sounding really dumb, but having had this for 8 years, give or take, I am wanting to find out if I can update JUST the cpu and RAM, or if I need to change the motherboard too (the video card is fairly new 2070).
