I just had a thought, and it�s a spooky one.

What if Dead Vision wasn�t a brief glance at his fate, but Wanda has somehow reanimated his corpse and her seeing him the way he was/is after Thanos murked him was just her illusion temporarily wearing off?

Surely, Disney wouldn�t go that far down the Cronenberg horror route, would they?

I thought it was implied that SWORD was founded more recently? I'm also a bit confused that the name is specifically about sentient weapons when they are likely going to be a general SHIELD replacement going forwards.

Well, the SWORD Acting Director said that Monica's mom built the organization from the ground up, so I don't think it's a recent thing. Probably started in the late 90's after she found out about all the horrendous alien poo poo that exists in the galaxy. And at one point during the walk and talk at SWORD when he was explaining the different name to Monica (Sentient Weapons instead of Sentient World), he said the following:

Monica Rambeau: "It also says "Observation and Response" on that door, not "Creation.""

Tyler Hayward: "World's not the same as you left it. Space is now full of unexpected threats."

After the Snap, they underwent a name change and started focusing more inward on nanotech, robots and AI rather than solely alien threats.

SHIELD was founded in the 40's by Peggy Carter & Pals and SWORD existed alongside SHIELD for 20+ years, it would seem.

And apparently, per the AoS writers room, they wanted to mention SWORD on the show, but Marvel Studios shut their request down.

Victor von Doom is one of the best Marvel villains and should�ve been so easy to translate to live action, and yet Fox managed to botch it every single time.
