I once wrote a recursive path building script in SQL to produce all paths in what was a very loose hierarchy and it actually worked.

actually it was #temp not ##temp aka summoning satan on your db

also I was the only person that understood the application and ever touched the db because I was persistent enough to reverse engineer the pathing to maintain an integration that "shouldn't be possible" according to the original vendor

not even close to the time that gitlab was stripping some weird character from a SQL script on commit so it did one thing when you ran your local copy and another when you ran it from build
