i used to work at some place where the CEO was constantly complaining about how lazy the programmers were and when HE was a programmer he was working 12 hour days and weekends. The same employee without fail would respond with "yes, because you owned 60% of the company. Give the programmers you're asking to work 12 hour days and weekends 10% of the company and you'll absolutely see that kind of effort" and somehow the CEO never responded. Anyway, giant companies talking about being 'scrappy' and 'nimble' never fails to be hilarious to me. Its just such transparent bullshit.

idk i watched a few parts. The Q&A didnt seem bad but i did notice that elon and maybe 2 other dudes opened their mouths the entire time, everyone else was too scared to step up to questions. I dont think his answers were incoherent, I think he just has no natural charisma, likeability or charm, and when he dodges a question like most CEOs do you notice it a lot more because of that. I skipped around the main presentation and i think it was probably far more fiction writing than most things like that tend to be. He wants to focus on the "long term problems" because they're easy to handwave the details away.
