I’ve lived in apartments for the last 15 years, and the stuff they buy seems to Just Work. Not fancy, but reliable and poo poo. People I know with Samsung and Bosch stuff all seem to love it for some reason, but it seems to be lovely stuff built like the worst German car tropes.

I always use anti-seize, maybe I used too much or not enough last time, who knows?

Don’t use anti-seize on plated plugs, it can result in exactly what you experienced and isn’t necessary. It’s only required for the uncoated plugs (like the ACDelcos Rockauto sent me for in the iron-block Lumina APV I used to have).

Randomly googled reference: https://ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/anti-seize-spark-plug-threads/
