I somehow managed to never hear that Warrior was from the same guy as Banshee and it took like.. 3 minutes to just know, oh, this has to be by the Banshee people.

Is everyone as intensely unlikable as Banshee? I couldn’t get into that show because everybody sucked so much.

I'll have to get back to you on that. Honestly here's what I remember about Banshee:

- job was cool
- antony starr
- hot people fuckin'
- people gettin they rear end beat

so far this checks off the important boxes (2.5 of them anyway, no antony star)

Finished Alice in Borderland. I thought it was pretty fun. They did a good job of giving depth to some of the characters that could have just been one note and the mystery of what exactly is going on is fun. Mixed feelings on the trans representation though. The character is totally a badass and I thought they handled the characterization well but they didn't actually get a trans actress for the part, which is disappointing.

I don't have an opinion on that yet, only halfway through.. but I will say it is enraging how no one ever seems to be in an appropriate amount of rush. 3 seconds left on a timer that'll kill me? I'll wait until .1 seconds to start moving, or figuring things out, or whatever. Repeat ad nauseum

E, for example, (e4) 2 hour time limit with the description "distance". 10 minutes on the timer down with no one even thinking "we should figure out what makes this number go up" ahhhhhh you've seen people die for real why are you treating all this like a game still

Its like a weird thing because they introduce the game classifications but only seem to care about Hearts because the game in ep 4 is supposed to be wits, not physical but they don't think of that at all.

It was clubs wasn't it? Which means team game, which means it's obviously not "who gets the furthest".

I think Alice in Borderland has to be treated like a true horror movie and you just have to accept that everyone has a 70 IQ. Anything else is just infuriating.

Seems so unusual to have 13 episodes in a series but makes it so digestible

Not sure why it took me so long to start it.

Columbo, the character and actor Peter Falk is just phenomenally good. He's on par easily with Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot, but he's built for the medium and so well acted. :discourse:

The way he almost terrorizes his suspects. He's a troll

I always thought the "oh and one more thing" bit was overemphasized but no, he does it multiple times in the same conversation! I think he did it 3 times in one scene in the one I just watched.

Q13: You’ve said that you first had the experience of fans wanting to sleep with you as a Second City improv performer on cruise ships. Has that sort of attention increased?

MIDDLEDITCH: Personally, that’s one of the trickier elements of it all, because Mollie doesn’t get that and yet she has to witness it. I’m like, “Come on, what about this chick who’s obviously really into me?” And Mollie will say, “Yeah, she’s into you. Where do I fit in?” That question comes up. There’s a lot of negotiation, and adding fame sometimes makes it easier and sometimes complicates things.
